Equity Housing provides new homes at Boars Leigh
Equity Housing Group owns and manages 4,300 properties for both rent and home-ownership customers across a number of local authority areas. The Cheadle Hulme landlord is currently developing the ex-Boars Leigh restaurant site for affordable housing.
The development will feature 16 new houses and bungalows. 10 of these properties will be sold as a shared ownership option; which means customers can purchase a percentage of their home (usually around 50%) and pay rent on the existing share. This option is great for those on lower incomes or who want to get on the housing ladder. Once a share has been purchased, home owners will then have the option of buying larger shares until they own the property 100% outright, if they wish.
A further six properties will be offered at affordable rent. This means that the rent is set at just 80% of the market rent. All properties are due for completion by August/September 2015. A show home will be available for customers to view in June, so come along and have a look!
If you are interested in either renting or purchasing a property please call Equity Housing Group on 0800 733233. The 2 bedroom houses start from £85,000 and the three bedroom houses start from £87,500.
