Bosley is a small rural village nestled in the South-east corner of Cheshire between the the Peak District hills and Bosley Cloud.
Despite its small size, it maintains a vibrant community full of warmth and fun... as you will see from our website!
The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee on June 3rd is the next village event. Plans are taking shape and there will be a combined service in St. Mary’s Church at 9.45, followed by a walk, possibly up the Minns on the fell runners route. Then back to the marquee for the ‘Big Lunch’ a national event. Sandwiches, teas and coffee will be provided thanks to a grant from CEC, but it is also a bring and share event. The big TV will be up to watch the Thames Pageant and the London festivities. There will be a bouncy castle and games with a royal theme including jousting! On Monday evening beacons will be lit across the UK in celebration and we will be lighting ours at 10pm on top of Bosley Minn by kind permission of Karl and Jeanette Van Roy
