So we have our Spring Dinner at Horton in aid of church funds on 21st March. Tickets £15 from members of the PCC. It should be a good evening.
Mothering Sunday service is on 30th March and will be in school this year, ladies with receive posies and there will be refreshements afterwards.
The Youth Club is opening in school on Friday March 7th, 7-9pm. Come along for an evening of fun and games.

Our condolences go out to Margaret Williamson’s family on her death. She used to live at Lakeside.
Andrea Bradley would just like to say a massive thank you for all the help and support that she was given in the last ten months. She says, ‘until one finds oneself on this journey and how hard it gets it is the friends, family and neighbours who get you through it. So a big thank you, I will never forget how kind you all have been.’
Dane Valley Woodland Project
This project concentrates on the conservation and enhancement of existing woodlands in the valley coupled with the creation of extensions and linkages through woodland planting and regeneration. This includes woodlands in Bosley mainly on the slopes of Bosley Minn and along the river and stream sides.
Working with various landowners tree thinning, rhododendron control, stock exclusion and tree and shrub planting has taken place. National Park Authority rangers have encouraged Bosley school children to find out more about their natural environment, building pied flycatcher bird boxes and collecting tree seed. There will be a board by Bosley reservoir in the summer with information and some of the children’s drawings.
